01 / ABOUT US

A Toronto-based trade intermediary, built for both sides of the Atlantic.

W&N Atlantic Inc. is a bidirectional business-to-business trade intermediary headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We bridge structural gaps in international commerce by linking West African enterprises with North American markets — absorbing the complexities of regulatory compliance, customs clearance, freight routing and secure transaction finance so our partners can trade with confidence.

With a dual-market presence — direct access to North American corporate buyers and deeply rooted, on-the-ground networks across major West African trade centres — we engineer frictionless, reliable cross-border trade corridors.

07 / FAQ

Questions, answered.

How we work, how transactions are protected and how quality is verified — the essentials for buyers and partners.

What is W&N Atlantic Inc.’s primary role in the trade process?

We operate as a structured B2B trade intermediary and logistics facilitator. We don’t simply match buyers and sellers — we de-risk the entire transaction by managing regulatory compliance, cargo handling, customs clearances and secure payment flows between North America and West Africa.

How do you protect financial transactions?

We strictly use recognized international trade finance instruments. Transactions are primarily structured with irrevocable letters of credit (L/C) or bank guarantees issued by top-tier global financial institutions. Funds are only released once verifiable proof of shipment — such as a clean bill of lading — and quality inspection certificates are presented.

How do you verify the quality of West African goods?

Through our deeply rooted local networks in West African trade hubs. Before any shipment leaves port, goods undergo rigorous quality control inspections by internationally recognized third-party agencies such as SGS or Bureau Veritas, verifying volume, safety and compliance with North American standards (CBSA, FDA, USDA).

How do you manage vehicle and petroleum exports from Canada?

We manage the end-to-end outbound pipeline: legal procurement of commercial and consumer vehicle fleets, Canadian export clearances, specialized automotive freight (RoRo/container), and compliant fuel and refined petroleum supply lines to verified buyers in West Africa.

What are your service fees?

Pricing depends on transaction scope: fixed intermediary fees for standalone customs and logistics management, and a percentage-based commission on the total contract value of successfully brokered deals. Custom retainers are available for long-term market entry consulting.
